Holiday Photo Studio Day

I'm excited about the newest special that I am running for clients (new and existing) to participate in. It's a HOLIDAY PHOTO STUDIO DAY...what is HOLIDAY PHOTO STUDIO DAY, you might be asking yourself? Well, here's the scoop...

Holiday Photo Studio Day is a special in-studio day for getting those holiday photos completed…I will be booking appointments between 10am and 5pm on Sunday, November 9th, 2008 for couples, families, just the kids, etc to get modern holiday photos taken.

Three packages are available which all include the following:

* Holiday cards with envelopes (using one photo from session)
* Sitting fee plus time and talent of photographer (up to 1 hour session)
* All retouching for photos
* 8 images to choose from on a proof CD (low resolution)

Some Packages Include the Following:
* Complimentary print (8x10)
* High Resolution Digital Image on CD (Card image only)

Sessions will be held at Creative Genius Art Gallery & Studio in our back studio area. A bathroom is available and we will plan your family’s or your children’s modern pose with you prior to your session.

Appointments are required for this special offer and deposits will reserve your space for that day.
For more information or to book your session, contact Julie Basello-Holt at 609-714-1131 or via the web at jab112167@aol.com.

Back from Vacation

Just got back from vacation this week and I am busy working on lots of things. My gallery has an exhibit opening in a month and a half so I have been busy working on that but more importantly, I have been putting the finishing touches on my new photography website/online portfolio. I am still working through editing and choosing additional photos to add and I am also looking through mp3's to choose some music.

The website hosts/creators are just awesome. I have to give them a plug:

http://www.portfoliositez.com/. Their site packages are affordable and

they provide fabulous service. Using their product is easy for setting up a site as well as maintening it. I am way too busy for anything else so I am glad I found these women and their company.

The image in this entry is my latest favorite photo. A simple image that I took while teaching the weekly Digital Photography for Children class that I teach through my gallery and studio. I was working with my student on how aperture can be used creatively. Nothing extraordinary but I love the contrast between the green of nature, the greenish cast of the metal and the copper color.
Off to work on a photo book for a client...hope they like it!
